Mark your calendar for the new 2017 Florida Supportive Housing Summit – Keys to Success on October 3-4, 2017 at the Rosen Center, Orlando, FL. This new event, hosted by the Florida Supportive Housing Coalition, brings together national experts, statewide leaders, and supporting housing specialists to share their experiences with you.
The Florida Supportive Housing Coalition is a private, nonprofit membership organization with over 15 years of conference experience and successful supportive housing advocacy. Our membership is working for decent, safe, and affordable housing that promotes self-determination and stable communities for individuals with extremely low income who have special needs. Its mission is to advocate for housing and services to ensure that individual and families, people in crisis and homeless, seniors, and persons with disability conditions can live safely and with dignity.
FSHC’s 2017 Supportive Housing Summit – Keys to Success will connect services professionals, affordable housing developers, advocates, funders and government officials for panels, workshops and roundtable discussions. Together we will learn and engage in discovering best practices and exploring creative new approaches to making supportive housing work.
Workshops will include information on affordable housing opportunities, developing community collaboration, working with property management, best supportive housing and treatment practices, and how to identify local housing resources.
