The Florida Supportive Housing Coalition is proud to announce its new technical assistance (TA) program Supportive Housing Community Dialogue.  The Supportive Housing Community Dialogue (Dialogue) TA is an action-oriented program designed to help local communities start or expand supportive housing development for persons with special needs.

The Dialogue is an opportunity for a community to:

  • Learn first-hand how other communities began developing supportive housing
  • Receive an inventory of government and other resources available to their community
  • Evaluate their own resources and capabilities
  • Formulate a plan of action with the help of the most knowledgeable people in Florida

Bring HUD’s disaster-relief housing program to Florida by Ted Granger and Ken Carter

The 2017-2018 Tentative Funding Amounts and Time Line (10/2/17) has been posted to the Corporation Website:

The “Welcome Home Project”  — Central Florida’s homeless advocates are appealing to the community to find homes for 129 people by the end of March 2018 — and to crowdfund the $2,500 apiece to cover move-in costs and furnishings.
